Holiday Recipes

What holiday dish or dishes gives you fits? Perhaps I can add some tips to help.

turkey - the big bird and all her trimmings
gravy - lumpy, bumpy, frumpy, and darn gross
breads - how do you spell heat and serve again?
desserts - tough pie crusts, heavy cakes, floppy candies
the whole holiday deal - is there a holiday 911 phone number?

Back to School - Lunch Box

It's that time again. The school buses are running. The kids are headed out the door with books, pencils, binders, and lunch boxes. What's your favorite brown bag lunch? Or, pick one that your kid loves.

Sandwich (esp PB&J), chips, cookie - very classic.
Something fancy - with an "I love you" note included.
HOT! Oh yes. Soup or something in a thermos.
Those quickie lunch meals in the grocery store - grab and go.
Forget packing a lunch - Break out the checkbook and be done.
