If you haven't heard of the famous turducken, then you probably will soon. It's definately an interesting taste treat.

Folks in the south love to cook and love to eat. We also love to play around with our food. One of the more recent kitchen creations is the turducken.

Hum? What the heck is a turducken?

I've had a number of people ask me about turduckens.

First, the dish involves stuffing a turkey with a duck and the duck with a chicken. (Take another look at the name, and you'll get the idea.) Layered between are various stuffings. It can be one type of stuffing, but the "real deal" involves the taste treat of the different dressings.

Yes. It's a bit complicated, so I broke it all down with a Turducken help page.

Let me warn you. This is not a beginner recipe. It takes a lot of work and a lot of time. It's sure good though!
