If you're looking for recipes for your Super Bowl party, then you've come to the right place. I love making and eating Super Bowl snacks.

I was surprised to discover that Super Bowl Sunday is the second biggest day of feasting in the United States - right behind Thanksgiving. Then again, it is a relaxed day with everyone hanging out and munching. It's makes sense that a lot of people are doing a lot of eating.

First off, let me say, do not work yourself up into a lather making food for the big game. The guys will be happy if there's plenty of food, it tastes pretty good and if you're relaxed and enjoying the day.

Finger foods work great for Super Bowl Sunday, because everyone is focused on the TV and the game. There are loads of appetizer recipes. I like to do some old favorites and throw in something new every year.

If you're looking for some old favorites, then these are some classic Super Bowl party appetizers:

Little Smokies Appetizers - This is a collection of traditional Lit'l Smokie recipes.

More Little Smokies - If you didn't find the Smokie recipe you wanted in the first collection, here are some more Hillshire Farms favorites.

Little Smokie Piggies - These are like small Pigs in a Blanket. Yum. Quick, easy and tasty.

Pineapple Lit'l Smokies - This one is a tad fancier (if you can call Little Smokies "fancy").

Sausage Balls - Yes. These are as good as you remember. The guys really go for sausage balls.

Tortilla Cream Cheese Pinwheels - Little Tex-Mex wraps look cute and add a little zip to the party.

Pica de Gallo - Fresh vegetables mean this tastes much better than salsa from a jar. Pick up some nacho chips and get to dipping.

Grilled Nacho Chips - Sure. You can grill nacho chips, and it only takes a minute. I wouldn't heat up the grill just to make these, but if I'm griling other things, I put on a pan and snack away.

Chex Party Mix - This is the ultimate munchie. If you're buying it pre-made, then you're missing out. Bake your own. It's easy.

Filo Crab Appetizers - If you want to upscale, then these look fancy but are still easy to make.

Super Bowl Soup - This is fun to do with the kids or even when feeding a large group. Everyone brings vegetables, and the soup is a group project.

Beer Boiled Shrimp - A little messy. Be sure to have plenty of paper towels. Excellent and easy.

Buffalo Hot Wings - One of my neighbors showed me how to make these. I've never had better hot wings.

Grilled Beer Butt Chicken - You've heard of it. Now, try it. It's not real hard to make, and the chicken turns out very moist.

Beer and Brats - Here are tips to making this fun Super Bowl treat. The guys like to run in and out and keep an eye on the meat, so this one reduces the kitchen work load.

Grilled Burgers - Always a hit. Here I tell you the secrets of making super burgers for Super Bowl Sunday. You'll never want little flat burgers again.

Easy Grilled Pineapple - Toss your dessert on the grill too. The taste of fresh grilled pineapple is absolutely amazing.

Best Ever Potato Salad - Great with grilled foods or with sandwiches, make your potato salad the day before and then set it out and serve. This recipe is, by the way, the best I've ever eaten.

Barbecue Baked Beans - Yum. These go great with grilled foods. And, you know what they say about beans.

Grilled Chocolate Marshmallow Bananas - One for the kids (and the big kids). If you have the grill fired up, this is a nice treat after the meal.

Chocolate Oatmeal No Bake Cookies - This is another blast from the past. Kids enjoy both making and eating these quick drop cookies.

Maple No Bake Cookies - These are similar to the Chocolate No Bake cookies, but they have a fancier feel to them.

No Cook Butterfinger Pudding - This one is a bit messier, but it's delicious. You make it ahead and chill it, so you aren't stuck in the kitchen during the game.

Homemade Brownies - There's never a wrong time to set out some brownies. Whip up a pan. They'll be gone before the party ends.

Peanut Butter Fudge - Cut in small pieces and watch these go. My sister gave me this recipe, and it's fabulous. Easy too.
