Baker's has recalled some white chocolate out in the United States and Canada. Double check and make sure you don't have any.

In the United States, the only chocolate to double check is Baker's Premium White Chocolate Baking Squares. Fortunately it's not the big holiday baking season yet, so perhaps there's a not a lot of the chocolate out there.

They've found some possible salmonella contamination so have pulled the product and have asked bakers to check their baking stocks according to the Canadian Press. There have been no illnesses assocaited with the white chocolate to date.

The date for this recall is the beginning of October 2007, so it would be baking chocolate sold in September.

This has definately been the year for various food recalls.
