Hardee's was THE fast food chain here when I was growing up. Then others came in and put some under around here. Hardee's is now making a come back.
CNN Money notes that Hardee's has been quite successful with their Thickburger campaign. Citysearch.com lists them at the top in 13 cities across the nation.
I've always thought Hardee's biscuits are the very best (other than made at home). I love to get biscuits and gravy. Yum!
Around here, senior citizens must agree about the biscuits. There's always a crowd for breakfast - with most of them older.
I'd stayed away after breakfast time for years. The burgers just weren't that great. And, the fries didn't measure up to McDonald's (my favorite fast food fries).

Another addition at Hardee's in this area is "real" ice cream. They scoop that out in a cone like they used to at community stores.
