If you have any Castleberry's products in your cabinets, be sure to check the "use by" and batch numbers. Some of the products may be tainted with botulism.

Sure enough. I have a can of Castleberry's chili sauce.
The company has recalled cans with "use by" dates from April to May of 2009. They then expanded the recall to include some other products and dates with batch number listings.
I looked at my can. It does not fall under the original recall. The use by date was March instead of April/May. But the expanded recall does include my batch number.
The company found that some products had been tainted with botulism, so be sure to check any cans you may have on hand.
