Back to Childhood Dessert

Some desserts just bring the memories flooding back. Scratch brownies do it for me. How about you?

I was rather a tomboy growing up, but I did turn my hand at a few dishes--mostly the very sinful ones that stick to the ribs and the thighs.

A favorite dessert of mine was brownies. I got a wonderful recipe off TV, and I would make up pans of these yummy treats just about every week. Then, I'd go burn off the calories shooting hoops with the neighborhood kids.

I don't make scratch brownies so often now, and I mostly let my boys polish off the bulk of them, but I sure do love brownies. You'd think they might get old after years and years, but I really have a hard time thinking of a sweet treat better than brownies.
