If you love to cook, then you've probably thought about putting together a cookbook. With "Friends and Family Cookbooks" you can put out a high quality cookbook.

I've been collecting recipes for a long time and thinking about putting my collection in book form. I've checked out a number of companies that specialize in cookbooks. There are several out there.

Then, I came across Friends and Family Cookbooks. They offer everything that I had been looking for and more.

Most of the cookbook companies are very rigidly formatted. You can't really add special family stories or notes or photos that go along with the dishes. With "Friends and Family Cookbooks," you can.

Your own personal cookbook or a cookbook for your local church or civic organization can be highly personalized. The basic package includes 10 personal pages at the front where you can have history or family stories or group photos. Then, you can have pictures throughout the book - up to 60. If you are really photo happy, then you can pay extra for more.

Kathy, the owner, specializes in wedding cookbooks. These can be given out to each family when a couple marries. All the guests are invited to send in recipes. The happy couple starts out with a great collection of favorite dishes from both sides of the new family tree.

These cookbooks are absolutely delightful. I've looked at one of the weeding cookbooks made for one of Kathy's daughter. What a treasure. One book celebrates Grandma's 85th birthday. Another was put together to earn money to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. Every book is bursrting with warmth and personality.

The prices on the cookbooks are very reasonalbe especially if you get a bulk order.

Check the web site for details and to see examples.

Now, what are you waiting for? Gather and organize those recipes and have a special cookbook that love and use for years to come and can share with all your special people.

Marge Fullerman :
but I didn't like the lack of control I had. You have to send them your recipes and have them print them out. Look here: http://www.cookbookpeople.com/ I found that Matilda's Fantastic CookBook Software was really handy. I could do it all, including print, from my own computer. And it was reeally easy to use. (I'm not very good on computers.)
