Make this easy fruit salad the night before or in the morning and chill for a lovely and yummy side dish for the holidays
It’s always nice to have some type of fruit dish (even a rich one) with a big holiday meal featuring lots of rich family favorite recipes. The contrast on the flavors is nice, and it’s good to get some extra fruits on the menu. This recipe can be lightened up by using the low fat or fat free Cool Whip. This fruit salad is also super easy to make. Even the kids can make the holiday fruit side dish. The only part where adult supervision might be required is in cutting the grapes which can be a tad slick and hard to slice for new little cooks and perhaps the sliced bananas.
