Topping
Directions: Mix together the apples, cranberries and white sugar and place in a buttered casserole dish (9 x 11 or close). Mix together butter, brown sugar, and oatmeal. Stir. Pour over top of apple/cranberries. Sprinkle pecans on top. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour. The Cranberry Apple Casserole recipe works best if you cover the casserole until the last 5 to 10 minutes. You can use a lid or cover with tin foil.
